Reviews
Thank you so much for your "Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and
Yellowstone National Parks" DVD. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it
twice with my family. It served to reacquaint and remind us of the
great beauty that is found in these magnificent places. It was truly
a nurturing experience.
Your narrative was very informative and it was delivered in a relaxed
and pleasant manner. I especially enjoyed and appreciated the choice
of music that accompanied your commentary. It was complementary and
enhancing throughout.
To mention a few musical examples: the ruggedness of some of the
Grand Teton mountains was depicted by the aggressive first movement
of Beethoven's Fifth symphony; a peaceful baroque harpsichord and
flute composition was heard with photographs of a tranquil stream at
Jenny Lake Falls, and the "Flight of the Bumble Bee" was perfect with
the "flight of the chip monk". In other scenes you very
appropriately used some very simple western programatic music to set
just the right mood, along with other familiar classics. Each
selection effectively portrayed the most peaceful to the most
dramatic elements of nature captured in your video.
This will surely be appealing to prospective first time visitors as
well as to repeat visitors to these Great American Treasures.
Thanks again and the best of luck to you.
